<p>PURPOSE:To take out copying paper caught by a cleaning device easily by providing a means for detecting the copying paper mechanically between a cleaning blade and the upstream-side opening edge of a cleaning box. CONSTITUTION:The cleaning blade 28 made of polyurethane is held in the cleaning box 29 at its base part and slide-contacts with the circumferential side wall of a photosensitive drum 3 at its free end part. Then, a shaft 31 as the copying paper detecting means is provided between the cleaning blade 28 and the upstream-side opening edge of the cleaning box 29. Consequently, if the copying paper is caught by the cleaning device, it is taken out easily.</p> |
