There is described a package for food products of the type which comprises a separator 2 in the shape of a cup with a perforated bottom 3. In order that the separator 2 may adapt to the capacities of the compartments formed on either side of the bottom, the cup 2 has an external contour which is complementary to the internal contour of the package 1 such that the cup 2 fits by friction inside the package 1 in such a way that it can move like a piston inside that package. <IMAGE>
