PURPOSE: To generate plural stable microwave sub-carrier waves by generating plural harmonic waves from a single local oscillator, equalizing the power of the harmonic wave, equally dividing the power of a harmonic spectrum among plural copied spectrums, and extracting a desired sub-carrier wave frequency from a narrow band filter bank. CONSTITUTION: A signal from a local oscillator 10 is processed by a filter 11 and an amplifier 12, and inputted to a comb generator 13. The spectrum of a harmonic wave generated from the comb generator is transmitted through a low pass filter 14. The finite spectrum of the harmonic wave is processed by a power equalizing and distributing circuit network 15. The circuit network 15 includes mutually connected power collectors and dividers in plural stages. A repeated spectrum from the circuit network 15 is inputted to plural narrow band filters 16 with central frequencies f1 ,..., fn . The output of each filter is a spectrum with a single harmonic wave which can be used as a microwave sub-carrier wave in an FDM system. |
