<p>The proposed device, which is applicable to bicycle brakes of the type with an internal passage of the transmission cable (C), is constituted by a brake lever (1) and a fastening device (2), with this latter being fixedly mounted on the handlebar (M) of the bicycle by means of a clamp (3) tightened around said bicycle handlebar by a tightening screw (4); the brake lever (1) can freely rotate around a fulcrum (F). Now, defining a first set of three Cartesian coordinate axes, the origin of which is in the fulcrum (F), and which is composed by the axes: Z: the axis of the fulcrum (F), directed outwards relatively to the handlebar (M); Y: axis, parallely to which the free end of the brake lever (1) moves during the rotation about the fulcrum (F), having opposite direction relatively to the centre of curvature of the handlebar (M); X: axis perpendicular to the two other axes, directed upwards; as well as a second set of three Cartesian axes, also having its origin in the fulcrum (F), and composed by the axes: C: axis perpendicular to the plane of curvature of the handlebar (M), directed outwards relatively to the handlebar (M); B: axis laying on the plane of curvature of the handlebar (M), perpendicular to the axis (A); A: axis laying on the plane of curvature of the handlebar (M) and directed upwards; the axes X, Y, Z result to be inclined with respect to the axes A, B, C.</p> |
