A laundry drum is for an electric washing machine and equipped with guide ribs located on the inside on the inner periphery at a distance from each other. The V-shaped ribs open outwards. The edge section of the ribs feature transverse strips guiding a liq. film into the vertex area. The strips act as dam edges and the openings leading the liquid into the drum interior are next to each other in the drum jacket. ADVANTAGE - The drum enables washing liquid to be taken along out of the lower section of the washing soln. container when the drum is revolving in one direction. The liq. is allowed to flow out on to the moving laundry in the vertex section of the drum without the liq. needing to flow through the ribs completely.
