PURPOSE:To obtain thermally fixable ink excellent in fixability, heat resistance and scratch resistance by using metal oxide having specific pH, metal oxide having specific gravity larger than that of a fixation base base, acid wax or an acrylic resin. CONSTITUTION:Thermally fixable ink is based on metal oxide and a heat- meltable binder. As an example of usable metal oxide, a compound containing at least one kind of a metal such as cobalt is designated and, as a representative example thereof, Co (Al.Cr)2O4 is designated. From the aspect of low temp. or short-time fixability, metal oxide having pH based on JISK5101 of 5-8 is used. From the aspect of scratch resistance, metal oxide having specific gravity of 4-6 larger than that of the ink receiving layer in a receiving sheet for forming a pattern sheet is pref. used. As the heat-meltable binder, wax is used and, as pref. used wax, paraffin wax is designated. In view of low temp. and short- time fixability, an acrylic resin is pref. used together. |
