PURPOSE:To conduct simultaneous copying by means of a impact printer that develops no noises by jetting liquid particles of a color reactive substance on two overlapped recording media which is coated with coloring substance. CONSTITUTION:When solution of a volatile color reactive substance jetted out from an ink jet head 1 attaches on a first recording medium base 4a which is coated with a coloring substance 3a, a colored compound 6a is produced and an image is formed. The volatile color reactive substance that is left with further reaction diffuses in the first recording medium base 4a in the direction shown by the small arrow marks in the figure and forms a colored compound 6b by reacting with a coloring substance 3b which is coated on a second recording medium base 4b to form the copied image on the second recording medium 4b. |
