MOTOR DRIVE UNIT FOR CABLE WINDOW REGULATOR

There is described an electromotive drive part for a Bowden-pull window lifter, the housing of which is composed of two separate part units (1, 2). Accommodated in the housing (3) are the motor worm (5a), the worm wheel (7), the cable drum (8) and a bearing bolt (4). The drive part is characterised in that the electric motor (5) is flanged on one part unit (1) and otherwise this part unit (1) contains only the bearing bolt (4). The second part unit (2) contains the worm wheel (7) and the cable drum (8), there being formed on the worm wheel (7) a central bush (7a) which serves as a bearing for the cable drum (8). The bush (7a) extends into a hole (2a) in the housing wall (6) of this second part unit (2) and is supported there. In a preferred embodiment, the outer end of the bush (7a) is axially slotted to form resilient tongues, and these tongues are equipped with outwardly projecting hooks (7b) which pass through the hole (2a) in the housing wall and through this wall (6). The worm wheel (7) and cable drum (8) are thereby prevented from being pulled out in the axial direction. ……
