摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ballast which allows stable light-modulation, needs only simple circuits and requiring few components, and to reduce the size and manufacturing at a low cost. SOLUTION: The electronic ballast of a fluorescent lamp, using a silicon-controlled phase modulator for adjusting luminosity comprises a filter and rectifying circuit having an output port and connected to a municipal alternating current power supply; a frequency-control and switching circuit, having an output port and including an integrated circuit for controlling frequency and producing switch-triggering signals; an output circuit, having an input port connected to the output port of the frequency-control and switching circuit; a light-modulating signal processing circuit, connected to the output port of the filter and rectifying circuit and the input port of frequency-control and switching circuit; and a direct-current high-voltage stabilizing circuit with an input port connected to the output port of the filter and rectifying circuit, an output port connected to the input port of the frequency-control and switching circuit, and a feedback port connected with the output circuit.
