<p>PURPOSE:To faithfully regenerate the projection and recess on the surface of an original even when the hardness of its surface is not uniform or the original is made of soft material by a method wherein an embossing master, which has an even surface and is made of unsaturated polyester resin hardened body, is formed and, after that, the top surface of the projected part of the embossing master is finished flat. CONSTITUTION:Thermosetting resin-impregnated material sheet 1 is piled on the projected and recessed surface of an original 2 for an embossing die having projected and recessed surface and, after that, processed under heat and pressure so as to obtain a thermosetting resin-impregnated material hardened formed body 11, on which the projection and recess on the surface of an original is profiled. By piling a thermosetting resin-impregnated material sheet 3 again, a thermosetting resin-impregnated material hardened formed body 14, on which the projection and recess on the surface of the body 11 is profiled, is obtained. Further, by piling up a thermoplastic resin sheet 4 on the projected and recessed surface of the body 14, a thermoplastic resin formed body 15, on which the projected and recessed surface of the hardened formed body 14 is profiled, is obtained. A master 16 for the embossing die, on which the projected and recessed surface of the body 15 is profiled onto unsaturated polyester resin 5, is obtained. The top surface of the projected part on the surface of the master 16 is finished flat by polishing or sanding. Next, after piling a thermoplastic resin sheet 7 on the surface of a resultant flat finished master 17, an embossing sheet 19 is formed.</p> |
