摘要 Systems have thus far been lacking which allow the construction of a large number of climbing surfaces of different shapes and their problem-free reconstruction into other shapes. The construction system illustrated achieves this aim. It consists of different, geometrically shaped climbing plates (e.g. squares, various triangles, regular pentagons etc.). All edges of the same length of these plates can be coupled in any angular positions by means of separable hinges. In order to guarantee gap-free closing between coupled plates in any angular position, the edges of the plate are in each case half formed by a cylinder which is concentric with the axis of rotation of the hinges and half formed by corresponding cutouts. The diagram shows the corner of a square climbing plate with a one-part hinge part (a.), two-part hinge part (b.), the cylinder (c.) and the cutout (d.). The holes which arise at the intersection points (e.) of a number of plates are closed by corresponding fitting pieces. The climbing installations which can be erected with this construction system are either self-supporting (e.g. small closed towers) or require a stabilising carrier construction (e.g. larger towers or walls). They can be used in an ideal manner for training and in particular for competition purposes. <IMAGE>
