PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of a side plate for a heat exchanger for preventing frictional abrasion generated between a heat transfer pipe of vertical stage part and the side plate for the heat exchanger in accompany with the cold/heat repeating operation of the air conditioner, in the multi-passage cross fin tube type heat exchanger having a long length in the stage direction of a heat transfer fin, and many stages of the heat transfer pipe. SOLUTION: In the side plate penetration part for the heat exchanger of the heat transfer pipe, a diameter of a deburred hole and a diameter of a burring hole are distinguished from each other on the basis of specific stage position. Whereby the reliability of the multi-passage cross-fin tube type heat exchanger having the long length in the stage direction of the heat transfer fin and many stages of the heat transfer pipe, can be improved.
