<p>PURPOSE:To prevent robbery of a wheel, etc., without using any special tools, etc., by rotating a lever of a quick release device to a hub fixing position, and operating a lever removing means for pulling a lever supporting shaft part from a pressor metal. CONSTITUTION:For a quick release device 1 for fixing a hub shaft 3 installed at fork ends 2 of a bicycle, a cam hole 25 formed in a larger diameter head part 22 of a rod 19 is pushed out by an eccentric cam part 29 by rotating a lever 23 to the hub fixing side, and the rod 19 is moved right relative to a pressor metal 24. The distance between a nut body 21 and the pressor metal 24 is reduced to press both fork ends 2 and fixing the hub shaft 3. In this case, a lock member 32 is provided to be engaged with a screw means 30 on the outer end of the rod 19 and freely applied to the outer surface of the pressor metal 24. A butterfly nut of a lever removal means 35 is also provided for making it possible to remove a supporting shaft part 27 of the lever 23 without using tools.</p> |
