<p>The insert comprises a small cushion (1) which may be associated with several height-adjusting modules (2), or it comprises one or more modules used without a small cushion. Each module comprises runners (3), a connecting element (5) and a cover plate (6). The invention makes it possible for anyone to rest anywhere. It is compact and economical, washable or disposable. It places no stresses on the neck and hair and is hygienic to use. The advantages are: the Z-shaped balance of the mass of the head in the line (l-l) prevents the weight from acting at the point (p) with a lever (L) producing a torque (X), the stresses (c and d) are eliminated as at (a and b) and the hair is not subjected to the pressure of the pillow (e).
