PURPOSE: To facilitate attachment of a knife blade by forming an inclined wedge surface downward to a slot in a knife retaining cylinder on a retaining ruler and by arranging tightening ruler having a downwardly inclined wedge surface cooperating with the inclined wedge surface on the retaining ruler in this slot. CONSTITUTION: During an adjustment maneuver at which the knife retaining cylinder 3 is rotated relative to a pressure cylinder, the pressure cylinder presses a knife blade 2 downwards into a slot 6 of this cylinder 3. This knife blade 2 displaces a retaining ruler 7 downwards to a tightening ruler 9 through a support portion 12 on the retaining ruler 7, and is tightened and fixed into the slot 6 with wedge operation of the mutually cooperating inclined wedge surfaces 10, 11 of these ruler 7, 9.
