<p>The biophotoreactor (24) for exploiting a photosynthetic activity using a biocatalyst immobilized in a gel is characterized in that its vat (29) is comprised of at least one cavity intended to receive a lighting element (1), conveniently by means of optical fibers, and isolated from the contents of said vat (29), said cavity being delimited sideways by a transparent wall area (16) around which is arranged a biocatalytic layer or membrane (23) which is formed by gel containing the biocatalyst. The layer (23) is confined between the internal transparent wall (16) and an external carrier structure, porous of perforated, formed by a wide-mesh lattice (17), and/or a microporous membrane (34). The biocatalyst arrangement thus proposed allows to obtain a maximum activity of the biocatalyst.</p> |
