<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the cost of a welding generator by rectifying the voltage induced to main generating windings, supplying it as the control voltage of an AC voltage detection part and supplying the terminal voltage of a battery as the control voltage of a thyristor control signal generation part via a constant voltage generation circuit. CONSTITUTION:A thyristor 12-1 is provided on a rectifier circuit 8-1 of the voltage of a welding main generator 3. The voltage of the main generator 3 is detected by the AC voltage detection part A. A conducting angle of the thyristor 12-1 is controlled by the thyristor control signal generation part B. A diode 41-12 is connected in series with a resistance element 31-4 in parallel with the thyristor 12-1. Feeding from two main generating windings 4 is made controllable independently. The voltage induced to the main generating windings 4 is then rectified and supplied as the control voltage of the AC voltage detection part A. The terminal voltage of the battery 41-2 is supplied as the control voltage of the thyristor control signal generation part B via the constant voltage generation circuit 41-1. By this method, the need for a DC-DC converter for charging the battery of the welding generator is eliminated.</p> |
