Benzo-1,2,3-thiadiazole derivs. of formula (I) are new. In (I) Q1 and Q2 = H or halogen; X = O, S or NR1; R1 = H, 1-3C alkyl, or phenyl opt. mono- or disubstd. by Me, halogen, COOH or 2-4C alkoxycarbonyl; n = 2-6; A is an n-valent gp. derived from (a) a 1-6C alkane, (b) a 2-6C alkane interrupted by 3-7C cycloalkylene or CO, (c) a 4-6C alkane interrupted by 1 or 2 O atoms and/or 1 or 2 S atoms and/or 1 or 2 NR" gps., or (d) a 2-6C alkane substd. by R, X,R1 or X1COR2; or A may be derived from a 4-6C alkene or alkyne when X = O or S; or A may be a direct bond when n =2 and X = S or NR'; R" = 1-3C alkyl, or phenyl opt. mono- or disubstd. by Me, halogen, COOH or 2-4C alkoxycarbonyl; X1 = (CH2)mX; R = 1-4C alkyl, halogen, COOH, 2-5C alkoxycarbonyl or opt. substd. phenyl; R1 = H, 1-4C alkyl or opt. substd. phenyl; R2 = 1-4C alkyl, 3-6C cycloalkyl, or 2-6C alkyl interrupted by an O atom; m= 0 or 1. USE - (I) are fungicides active against phytopathogenic fungi. They are also stated to stimulate plant immunity to pathogens and to be active against phytopathogenic bacteria and viruses.
