PRODUCTION OF BACTERIAL ALKALINE PROTEASE

摘要

PURPOSE:To efficiently obtain an alkaline protease by culturing a strain which is mutant strain of an alkaline protease-producing microorganism belonging to the genus Bacillus and has tolerance to spectinomycin. CONSTITUTION:A strain [e.g. Bacillus SD 511 (FERM P-10422) obtained from Bacillus SD 501 or Bacillus SD 512 (FERM P-10423) obtained from Bacillus SD 504] which is an artificial or natural mutant strain of an alkaline protease- producing microorganism belonging to the genus Bacillus and has tolerance to spectinomycin is cultured in a culture medium to produce a remarkable amount of the alkaline protease in the culture medium.
