PURPOSE:To provide a function which can select many different specifications, to simplify the constitution of a money receiving machine and to contrive the reduction of cost by providing a set area of a memory switch in a RAM of the money receiving machine, and setting a selection of a function of details by a user side. CONSTITUTION:In a RAM 4 of a control part 1 of a money receiving machine 01, an area of a memory switch SW 4a is provided. When a power source is turned on to the money receiving machine 01, the control part 1 judges whether data stored in the RAM 4 is correct or not, and when it is correct, the transmission of an operation start command from a host computer 02 is awaited. On the other hand, when it is not correct, the data stored in the RAM 4 is cleared, and data in the memory SW 4a is initialized to the data of standard specifications written in advance in a ROM 3. In this state, when a set command is brought to command transmission from the computer 02, transmission data of several bytes continued from the transmission command is written as function selecting data in the memory SW 4a. |
