PURPOSE:To feed by one stepping motor at high and low speeds by applying a binary control code to exciters of phases of the motor the feed in a full step at a high speed, and applying a multivalue control code to feed at a microscopic angle of high resolution. CONSTITUTION:A microcomputer 1 forms a code for controlling the rotating angle of a stepping motor 3 (4 phases in the drawing) and outputs it at a predetermined timing. Exciters 2 (2-1-2-4) provided for phases phi1-phi4 latch a control code for digital excitation from the microcomputer 1 by a latch 21, D/A- converted by a D/A converter 22, and amplified by an amplifier 23 to excite the phases phi1-phi4. The microcomputer 1 forms a binary control code in a normal step at the time of high speed, and forms a multivalue code for fine division of a normal step angle at the time of high resolution. The codes are fed to a data line 11, distributed to the exciters 3 at a phase signal line 12, and turned ON, OFF at an enable line 13. Thus, the high and low speed feedings can be performed by one motor. |
