Briquetting die for dispersable fiber briquettes

A fibre briquetting die set having first and second mating rotating cylindrical dies 10, 12 is disclosed. Each die has a series of recesses 36 that are a mirror of each other. Each recess is surrounded by a wall having an upper rim common to an adjacent recess and having a small radius of curvature. The radius causes the cellulose fibre 30 to flow laterally (circumferentially and crosswise) to minimise the thickness of the web between the produced briquettes.
