Box filling machine using expandable funnel

摘要

Methods and apparatus for machine assisted loading of a box with discrete articles are disclosed. The box is located below a filling funnel that is then inserted into the box in a compact form. The funnel is reconfigurable so that it can be deployed to a size closer to the size of the box following insertion. The articles are dropped through the funnel following its reconfiguration to a larger size.
