<p>In the froth flotation of non-sulfidic, e.g. tin, ores, use is made of a collector mixture containing (a) alkyl and/or alkenyl glycosides and (b) monoalkylstannoates, the ratio of (a) to (b) being adjusted to a value of from 4:1 to 1:4. The monoalkylstannoate have the general formula RSn(O)OMe in which Me is sodium, potassium or hydrogen and R is preferably a linear saturated alkyl radical containing 2 to 10 carbon atoms.</p> |
