<p>PURPOSE:To perform satisfactory recording when another video signal is recorded on an unrecorded part of braking period width by forming the unrecorded part of braking period width by feeding a magnetic tape in a forward direction, when a receiving a pause instruction while recording. CONSTITUTION:In the recording, the phased locked state of an input video signal VD/2 pulse P1 and a PG pulse PG2 that is the received at such state, the recording is interrupted at a time when the recording of a frame to which the PAU instruction belongs is completed. At such a time, the control of a capstan motor 3 is started, and the motor 3 is stopped after the lapse of a braking period. The content of the counter 18 at that time is held with the counter 18 as it is. When the REC(recording) is received at such state, the motor 3 is rotated, and the tape is fed, and also, a recording amplifier is set at an ON state at a time point of the PG pulse PG2 representing the phase of the motor 3 coincides with the pulse P1, then, a mode is migrated to a recording mode again.</p> |
