<p>PURPOSE:To attain the initializing of a processor of a terminal equipment even when a fault takes place in the processor by providing a terminal accommodating equipment having a synchronizing signal generating circuit and the terminal equipment having a synchronizing signal detection circuit. CONSTITUTION:A processor circuit 21 in a terminal accommodating equipment 20 monitors the operation of a processor circuit 34 in a terminal equipment 30 through the transmission reception of a control command sent periodically. Then when a fault of the circuit 34 is detected, the circuit 21 of the equipment 20 controls a synchronizing signal generating circuit 23 to stop the generation of the synchronizing signal. Thus, the bit pattern of a synchronizing signal sent to the equipment 30 via a multiplex signal line 40 changes from the bit pattern when the synchronizing signal is generated into the bit pattern during the stop of the synchronizing signal. As a result, a synchronizing signal detection circuit 35 in the terminal equipment 30 cannot detect the bit pattern while the synchronizing signal is generated, discriminates the occurrence of a fault and sends an initializing signal to the processor circuit 34 through an initializing signal line 38. Thus, even when a fault takes place in the circuit 34, the circuit 34 is initialized.</p> |
