Modular interface circuit and subscriber facility for a digital network.

The interface circuit is intended to be fitted between a digital network and a subscriber. The circuit includes a counter (22) which controls the transmission of a sync. signal from a base circuit (10) when the base circuit is activated, and when a management bus (CONTREF) indicates the disappearance of any sync. signal from any other circuit. The operations are controlled so well by hardware circuits that they work very quickly, and avoid all loss of information which may be seen if the selection is centrally controlled.
