<p>An organopolysiloxane composition cross-linkable to an elastomer by polyaddition reaction of at least one vinylated organopolysiloxane A) carrying an Si-vinyl group with at least one organohydropolysiloxane B) carrying an SiH group, characterised in that it includes: - as organopolysiloxane (A) : a liquid diorganopolysiloxane (A1) carrying per molecule at least two Si-vinyl groups and at least one functional epoxy organic radical having 4 to 20 carbon atoms, - as organohydropolysiloxane (B) : an organohydropolysiloxane (B1) having at least three SiH groups per molecule with only one hydrogen atom bonded to any one silicon atom, the total amount of B) compared with A) being adjusted so that the molar ratio SiH/Si-vinyl is between 0.6 and 8, preferably between 1.1. and 4, - an effective amount of a polyaddition reaction catalyst (C). The composition in accordance with the invention may be used to make self-adhesive coatings for metals and may be used to coat and encapsulate electronic circuits, or to coat or disperse an active principle such as a drug with a view to its controlled release.</p> |
