<p>The device comprises a plate (10) of composite material with uncut longitudinal fibres embedded in a binder. The plate has a flexible, thinner central section (11) and rigid end sections (12, 13), articulated at (18, 19) on supports (16, 17) firmly attached to an axle (1). Connecting elements (14, 15) join the ends of the plate (10) to the body of a vehicle. In the event of a rolling movement by this body, the part (11) acts as a hinge between the end sections (12, 13) which exert a return rolling movement on the body.
