PURPOSE:To obtain an agent for inhibiting bond between insulin and collagen containing a specific amino acid sequence, capable of controlling homeostasis of insulin having growth factor activity and hormone activity and useful for cosmetic, percutaneous medicine, remedy and treatment for diabetes mellitus. CONSTITUTION:A polypeptide containing at least amino acid sequence expressed by the formula, produced preferably by bromocyan decomposition treatment of collagen V type, having 30kd molecular weight and having insulin binding activity.
