摘要 PURPOSE:To adjust securely and easily the optical axis of a parabolic mirror by moving a laser beam to be converged and a visible laser beam in parallel with specific precision and irradiating the reference plane part of the parabolic mirror with them, and returning the reflected light from the plane part through the same optical path. CONSTITUTION:The laser beam 1 to be converged and the visible laser beam 2 are superposed on each other with <=1mrad precision by using a bender mirror 7. The following adjustment of the parabolic mirror is made by using the visible laser beam 2. The parabolic surface incident beam is guided by the bender mirror 3 almost to the ideal incidence point 9 on the parabolic mirror 4 and a detachable optical flat 11 is placed on the bender mirror 3. the parabolic mirror 4 is held by a gimbals mechanism which is adjusted rotatably and easily around the ideal incidence point 9 of the mirror 4, so that the optical axis of the parabolic mirror 4 is easily adjusted.
