IN-PRIMARY-PIPING CLEANING DEVICE FOR NUCLEAR POWER PLANT

PURPOSE:To clean piping to the inside through remote operation without reference to the diameter and shape of the piping by using a special rotary nozzle and providing a guide which determines the insertion-directional position of the nozzle and a nozzle which discharges waste cleansing liquid. CONSTITUTION:The rotary nozzle 3 has front and rear spherical guides 23 and 28 and is provided with a rotor 26 which rotates with a high-pressure water injection reaction force. A nozzle insertion jig is fitted to piping 1 to be cleaned and is inserted from the opening part of an upper cap 5 while a high-pressure hose 4 is connected to the main body of the nozzle 3, so that the nozzle 3 is set by a guide 8 in the pipe 1 at a specific position 3-a. Then a high-pressure pump 32 is actuated to start cleaning the pipe and a water discharge pump is operated. Then a motor 18 for house reel driving is actuated and the nozzle 3 moves by itself with high-pressure water injection pressure from a rear nozzle 30. A nozzle 25 also injects high-pressure water to rotate the rotor 26, thereby cleansing the internal surface of the tube 1. The nozzle 3 while travels to positions 3-b and 3-c by sliding on the front guide 23 and then stops automatically when reaching a specific position.
