PURPOSE:To reduce the deterioration of true roundness of a roller to be made through a rib, by arranging ribs spirally as the roller advances in an exial direction, in the roller constituted by connecting an inner cylinder and an outer cylinder by a plurality of the ribs provided in an axial and peripheral direction with each other. CONSTITUTION:An inner cylinder 11 and an outer cylinder 12 are unified by connecting them by a plurality of ribs provided in an axial and a peripheral direction with each other. Each rib 13, therefore, can control the deterioration of true roundness of the external surface of the periphery of a roller under the influence of depression to be generated within a range of the ribs 13 as a set of short rib pieces (a set of four pieces of ribs in a sketch) in an axial direction provided at identical intervals in a peripheral direction is arranged so as to shift their angles spirally as the set advances in the axial direction. |
