Date Nov. 5, 1987.A container of monococque construction having a peripheral wall comprised of concentric inner and outer walls, with the space between the walls being filled with a plastics material. At least one of the inner and outer walls is a spirally-wound tube having raised seams projecting into the space between the inner and outer walls. The container is particularly adapted to form the body of a waste compactor for use as a bulk container for both fluid and particulate materials.
