PURPOSE:To eliminate malfunction and to realize sure information input by inhibiting signal supply from a digital signal inputting means to a processing circuit when a back cover is detected being open. CONSTITUTION:Contact groups 16a-16f of the camera main body 10 come into contact with terminals 22a-22f, which are arranged on the back cover 20 and are used for input information signal transmission, under the condition that the back cover is closed, and transmit the information signal to a control circuit in the camera main body 10. A signal generating circuit 23 on the back cover 20 side generates a pulse signal by dial rotation and outputs the signal to the control circuit of the camera main body 10. When the back cover 20 is open and photographing is not being performed, the signal supply from the digital signal inputting means on the back cover side to the processing circuit on the camera side is inhibited. Thus, the wrong information input by misoperation is prevented. |
