The invention concerns a motor vehicle rear structure (1) comprising a rear deck floor (6) vertically delimiting the rear structure (1), a venturi (2) the base (20) of which has a substantially planar first part (22) and a sloping second part (24) rising rearward of the vehicle. The invention is characterized in that an exhaust device (4) is arranged in the volume created between the rear deck floor (6) and the venturi (2), at least one exhaust outlet (40) being oriented rearward of the vehicle and emerging through the second part of the venturi (24), and in that a first heat shield (5) is arranged between the exhaust device (4) and the rear deck floor (6) and a second heat shield (3) is positioned against the venturi (2), between said venturi (2) and the exhaust muffler (4).
