<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate the variation of moisture-sensing characteristics and realize long life stable performance in an outdoor application by a method wherein a moisture-sensitive film made of fired composition composed of silicone, inorganic oxide, conductive carbon powder and alkali metal salt is provided on the surfaces of conductive electrodes formed on an insulating substrate. CONSTITUTION:A moisture-sensitive film 3 is provided on the surfaces of electrodes 2 formed on a substrate 1. The moisture-sensitive film 3 is formed by firing a composition composed of inorganic oxide, conductive carbon powder and alkali metal salt mixed with silicone as binder or the film 3 is composed of the baked composition film and a cured silicone film formed on it. The moisture-sensitive film is formed in such a manner that the composition composed of inorganic oxide, conductive carbon powder and alkali metal salt which are mixed with predetermined contents and silicone added to them as binder is applied to the surfaces of the electrodes by a method such as a screen printing method so as to have a large thickness, dried under a room temperature, fired at 100-250 deg.C and aged in an atmosphere of 60-80 deg.C and 95% RH to hydrate and stabilize the film surface. Therefore, heat cleaning is not necessary and the long life stable performance can be realized.</p> |
