<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to operate a lid either inside or outside an automobile using a manually operated cable or an actuator by providing a movable intermediate connecting member and moving it between an engagingly locking position and an unlocking position. CONSTITUTION:A movable intermediate connecting member 11 is provided and placed in an engagingly locking position when a lid is closed and in an unlocking position when the lid is opened. When a manually operated cable 14 is operated, the intermediate connecting member 11 moves into the unlocking position, so that a lid locking device is operated through a first connecting member 12, and thus the lid is opened. On the other hand, when an actuator 13 is operated by a remote control means from the outside of an automobile, the intermediate connecting member 11 moves into the unlocking position so as to enable the opening of the lid. At this time, as the manually operated cable 14 is connected to the intermediate connecting member 11 with play, the operation of the actuator 13 is not obstructed.</p> |
