PURPOSE:To generate many kinds of parameter information by a small memory capacity by setting and controlling a musical tone formed by an electronic musical instrument in accordance with musical performance characteristic parameter information contained in a performance parameter which is read out of a performance parameter storage means. CONSTITUTION:When a desired performance parameter is read out of performance parameter storage means PMEM1-8 by performance parameter reading- out means SWP1-SWP8, a voice parameter instructed by voice parameter designating information contained in this performance parameter which is read out is read out of voice parameter storage means VME1-32. Subsequently, in accordance with this musical performance characteristic parameter information, a musical tone formed by an electronic musical instrument is set and controlled. In such a way, many parameter information can be generated by a small memory capacity. |
