<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a camera which responds to individual need of a photographer with excellent operability by switching the types of camera information which can be set by a back cover side digital signal inputting means. CONSTITUTION:Contact groups 16a-16f of the camera main body 10 come into contact with terminals 22a-22f, which are arranged on the back cover 20 and are used for input information signal transmission, under the condition that the back cover is closed, and transmit the information signal to a control circuit in the camera main body 10. A signal generating circuit 23 on the back cover 20 side generates a pulse signal by dial rotation and outputs the signal to the control circuit of the camera main body 10. Namely, the digital signal inputting means is provided also on the back cover 20 side. Therefore, the camera information can be set when the camera is being held, and the camera information switching is allowed. Thus the operability is improved.</p> |
