PURPOSE:To record a mark with diminished distortion in shape with a simple device configuration by detecting periods of high and low levels of an input signal of a pulse state, generating plural pulses with intervals to be widened with time to modulate laser light and recording a signal on an optical disk accordingly. CONSTITUTION:When a pulse signal (a) is inputted to an input terminal 1, the inputted signal (a) is converted into a waveform (b) by an integrator 2, and moreover into a waveform (c) by a computing element 3. A voltage control oscillator 4 is operated by this signal to obtain a signal (d) having a frequency in proportion to an input voltage level. Then, an AND of an input waveform (a) by an signal waveform (d) is obtained in an AND gate 6, and this is converted into a short pulse train (f) whose pulse width becomes wider in the lapse of time to modulate a semiconductor laser 9. Consequently, the signal is recorded on the optical disk 14. By this method, the recording mark with diminished distortion in shape can be formed by the simple device configuration. |
