<p>PURPOSE:To extremely easily and correctly impart desired shape to the shape memory alloy wire by inserting the shape memory alloy wire into a deformable tube body and heating the tube body in the deformed state. CONSTITUTION:A deformable metallic thin tube body 1, e.g. formed into the shape of a straight line is prepd., a linear dental straightening wire 2 made of Ni-Ti alloy is inserted into the tube body 1 and the tube body 1 is deformed into the desired arch shape. Or, the linear tube body 1 is deformed into the desired shape and, after that, the wire 2 is inserted into the tube body 1. Then, the tube body 1 and the wire 2 are heated to a prescribed temp. as they are, and the wire 2 inserted into the tube body 1 is stored with the deformed shape of the tube body 1 as it is.</p> |
