<p>PURPOSE:To lower the cost of a device and to prevent the occurrence of an electromagnetic wave noise by providing a conversion means converting clock signals issued from a light emitting control means to n-pieces of time series signal and a drive means driving a light emitting element by (n) time-sharing on the basis of the output of said conversion means. CONSTITUTION:Selection strobe signals (COMSTB) are supplied from a printer controller 15 to respective D.FFs 23-1-23-n via a signal line l4, a terminal IN2, and an inverter 26. Then, these signals function as clock signals, and data according to the logic states of the respective D.FFs 23-1-23-n are outputted to corresponding NAND gates 24-1-24-n. At this time, the respective NAND gates 24-1-24-n input selection strobe signals as high(H) signals. Low(L) signals are outputted to an inversion type driver only from the NAND gates where both the input signals are high(H) signals. Therefore, a voltage is successively applied to COMs (1- n) in accordance with the selection strobe signals COMSTBs (1-n), and LED arrays 17-1-17-n are successively selected.</p> |
