PURPOSE:To prevent generation of knocking by correcting the ignition timing to a smaller value by a prescribed crank angle when the load for an internal- combustion engine is increased sharply. CONSTITUTION:The fact that the load for an internal-combustion engine is sharply increased and the number of revolution is sharply reduced is detected in the steps 214-215. In other words, when the relation Ni<0.9XNi-1 is formed between two revolution speeds Ni-1 and Ni, it means that the revolution speed Ni sharply reduces, compared with the preceding revolution speed Ni-1. When the relation (Q/N)i>1.1X(Q/N)i-1 is formed on the basis of two air-flow rates per revolution (Q/N)i-1 and (Q/N)i, it means that a sharp increase of the air-flow rate (Q/N)i per revolution brings the sharp reduction of the number Ni of revolution. In this case, one degree in crank angle is reduced from a standard inginition advance angle theta in the step 216. Thus, generation of knocking can be prevented. |
