PURPOSE:To obtain the artificial bone, artificial tooth and bone fixing screw having excellent bioaffinity by incorporating a calcium phosphate compd. and synthetic org. polymer respectively at specific ratios therein and exposing the calcium phosphate compd. at a specific rate or above in area ratio on the surface layer part in contact with the biotissue. CONSTITUTION:The artificial bone, artificial tooth and bone fixing screw contain 40 to 95wt.% calcium phosphate compd. and 60 to 5wt.% synthetic org. polymer and are exposed with the calcium phosphate compd. at >=50% on the surface layer part in contact with the biotissue. Further, the raw material monomers of the calcium phosphate compd. and the synthetic org. polymer are mixed at the time of producing the artificial bone, artificial tooth and bone fixing screw and after the mixture is heated and polymerized, the mixture is worked to a desired shape and further, the surface layer part is subjected to a surface treatment to expose the calcium phosphate compd. The production of the artificial bone, artificial tooth and bone fixing screw having the sufficient bioadaptability is difficult if the content of the calcium phosphate compd. is below 40wt.%. The working of the artificial bone, artificial tooth and bone fixing screw is difficult if the content exceeds 95wt.%. |
