PURPOSE:To prevent overshoot and to suppress the calorific value of a heater in the midst of idling by making the energizing of the heater off for a specified time when a main motor is turned off. CONSTITUTION:When copying is completed and the main motor M1 is turned off, a CPU 10 immediately turns a heater power source 13 off and sets a timer 14. Therefore, the specified time (t) is set. When the timer 14 is cleared after the lapse of the specified time (t), the heater power source 13 is turned on to restore ordinary control of temperature at a set temperature T1. When a copying button 15 is depressed while the heater power source 13 is off, the heater power source 13 is immediately turned on to restore the ordinary control of temperature. Thus, the overshoot after completing copying is prevented. |
