PURPOSE:To enable quick and accurate measurement of activities of a plurality of enzymes simultaneously by arranging a sample passage to let a sample containing enzymes flow together with a carrier and a plurality of enzyme reaction sections with a sensitive electrode to measure activities of the enzymes. CONSTITUTION:Buffers in buffer tanks 10a and 10b are introduced into enzyme reaction sections 6a and 6b at a fixed flow velocity with pumps 8a, 11a and 8b and 11b while a carrier in a carrier tank 15 is introduced into a sample passage 2 with a pump 13 at a fixed flow velocity. Then, a sample containing two kinds of enzymes is injected into the carrier from a sample injecting section 16 to be introduced into the passage 2. The enzyme in the sample introduced to be diffused into the reaction sections 6a and 6b reacts specifically with a substrate. The amount of oxygen decreasing with the reaction, the amount of hydrogen peroxide increasing with the reaction or products are detected with an enzyme sensor or the like as combination of an oxygen electrode, a hydrogen peroxide electrode or an enzyme immobilizing membrane with an oxygen electrode. Thus, from the results of the detection, activity of the enzyme in the sample can be measured. |
