GALVANIC ANODE MATERIAL FOR PREVENTING CORROSION OF REINFORCED CONCRETE AND METHOD FOR ELECTROLYTICALLY PROTECTING REINFORCED CONCRETE STRUCTURE WITH THE SAME

PURPOSE:To facilitate the application of a galvanic anode member to the surface of a ceiling, etc., and to enhance the corrosion preventing effect to steel by successively laminating a protective sheet, a waterproofing material, a galvanic anode material and a water retaining material to form the galvanic anode member and attaching this member to the surface of reinforced concrete. CONSTITUTION:A zinc sheet 5 as a galvanic anode sheet is adhered to a flexible sheet 3 such as an asbestos slate as a protective sheet with a waterproofing material 4 such as rubber or asphalt to form a galvanic anode member and the zinc sheet 5 is coated with back-filling 6 as a water retaining material. The surface of concrete 1 is covered with the anode member and an anchor bolt 2 is allowed to pierce the member and electrically connected to the zinc sheet 5 with a nut 8 for connection through a toothed washer 7. The anode member is then fastened to the surface of the concrete 1 with a nut 10 for attachment through a backplate 9 and the head of the bolt 2 and the nut 10 are protected with a cap 11.
