摘要 |
PURPOSE:To reduce activity level of extracellular protease by synthesizing a DNA sequence to suppress formation of extracellular enzyme such as alpha-amylase, protease or alkali phosphatase. CONSTITUTION:A DNA sequence derived from chromosome of Bacillus subtilis, having functions of suppressing formation level of at least extracellular enzyme such as alpha-amylase, protease or alkali phosphatase and intracellular protease is partially digested with a restriction enzyme. Then the DNA sequence is inserted and bonded to a vector plasmid replicable with Bucillus subtilis and Bacillus subtilis is transformed by using the prepared recombinant plasmid to give strain MT-121 (FERM-BP-2229) having reduced productivity of protease. |
