PURPOSE:To increase the strength, lower the Young's modulus and prevent buckling with its self-weight by roasting formed product containing additives such as SiO2, Al2O3, TiO2 or the like, mullite aggregate, portland cement or the like in a prescribed proportion. CONSTITUTION:Additives: 4 to 15wt.%, mullite aggregate: 66.5 to 85wt.%, portland cement: 6.5 to 15wt.%, clay mineral: 4 to 8wt.% and water: 9 to 16wt.% are mixed and formed. The additives are selected from SiO2, Al2O3, TiO2 and compounds containing them. Then, the formed products are fired at 1200 to 1500 deg.C. |
